Both the AACI Board of Directors and the National Coordinator attended this training. We looked at organisational roles in terms of operations and Governance and who has responsibility for what.
Sheila takes what is important out of the Governance Code and applies it as the ‘Vital Signs’, which focuses on role clarity, a mutually agreed plan of action, a reporting plan and Code of Conduct.
It was a very beneficial day in that it helped us prioritise the immediate actions required in terms of Governance. We also received valuable guidance on how Board meetings can be more productive.
